Two for two.

I drove for two hours (roundtrip) for a two-hour rehearsal. I now understand why a lot of the far east/west siders don't come to town very often. And why fellow cast members bitch so much during rehearsal. Transit makes everyone cranky. I will award myself extra points because I can't sleep or read on the way home, unlike people who take the train.
Okay, time to eat my bento, which is 5 hours old.
And since I'm obsessed with the weather, here's an update. It's definitely spring, past the pretty flowering trees part, and it's still a little chilly. It's halfway through May, and I'm still wearing socks. What gives? Two years ago my family came to visit, and I was gross and sweaty after a 15 minute walk to their hotel. Curse the humidity. I guess I'm glad it's not that humid.
The kids are outside practicing for sports day, and I'm catching a cold. Ugh. Some poor girl was rocking back and forth because she was sick and cold. She was sick and cold and coughing, but she still sat outside to watch practice. Whose idea was that? I've been here for long enough where I know it could actually be her choice, to be there with the team instead of getting healthy.
No really, I'll get that bento now.
