Band vs. Movie

Ran into this photo of the Parenthetical Girls, which is a recreation of the poster for A Tale of Two Sisters. (I like to think it was an homage, but I'm sure it was just a blatant ripoff.) It's such a striking photo that I still remember chatting with D in Tak about what the movie might be about. I even bought it the year I got back from Japan, although I still haven't watched it. Human speech is like a cracked kettle on which we tap crude rhythms for bears to dance to, while we long to make music that will melt the stars.

I don't care which is the proper translation, I just know which one I like better.
