BBC is better than CNN.

Wednesday, April 26, 2006

Well, the website at least. Don't ask me about content or layout or writing style (although I feel that the BBC does a better job of reporting, rather than sensationalizing); just let me illustrate my point, excerpt from a BBC article on David Blaine:

Nothing special right? Did you read the caption? Read it.

Oh non-sequiturs. There's another photo talking about how Blaine is training near the Cayman Islands for his latest look-at-me-look-at-me stunt. That's relevant to the article. (He's going to try living underwater for a week, and then try to break the world record for breath-holding.) Being friends with Leo is not.

And another thing--"Blaine is to get a two-way audio link" blah blah interview? Interview? He's going to be underwater, how on earth do you talk underwater? And where will he crap? I hope he farts. And I also hope that the fine people of New York City heckle him just as much as the people in London did.
